Who We Are
The pH Method (“we,” “us,” “our”) is the coaching and education business of Phil Hoare. This policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal information when you visit thephmethod.com, take the Clarity Quiz, book a call or join a program, and the choices and rights you have.
Information We Collect
Information You Give Us
- Clarity Quiz: first name, email address, your answers and the resulting score (for example “Cellular” or “Digestive”). Collected only after you tick the consent box.
- Solutions Call booking: the details you enter in the booking calendar (such as name, email, phone and any notes).
- Programs and coaching: account, purchase and health information you choose to share with us. Card payments are handled by our payment processor; we do not see or store full card numbers.
- Messages and requests: anything you send us, including privacy or accessibility requests.
Information Collected Automatically
- Essential storage: your cookie choice and, for the current browser session, the first name you typed in the quiz so we can greet you on your results page.
- Analytics (only if you accept): pages viewed, time on page, referring site, approximate location (city/country), browser and device type, collected by Google Analytics.
- Server logs: our hosting provider records IP addresses and request details for security and troubleshooting.
We never put your name or email in page addresses (URLs), so they are not passed to analytics or other websites.
Consumer Health Data
Quiz answers, booking notes and information shared during coaching may relate to your health. Some US state laws (for example Washington's My Health My Data Act, and laws in Nevada, Connecticut, Colorado and others) treat this as “consumer health data” or “sensitive data.” For this information:
- We collect it only with your consent and use it only to provide your results, recommendations and the services you request.
- We share it only with the service providers listed below that process it on our behalf. We do not sell it and do not use it for advertising.
- You can access, delete or withdraw consent for it at any time using the request form below.
The pH Method provides coaching and education, not medical care, and is not a HIPAA-covered entity.
How We Use Information
- To show your quiz result and email you your breakdown and related guidance (based on your consent).
- To schedule and hold Solutions Calls and deliver programs you buy (to perform our agreement with you).
- To send newsletters and offers if you have opted in. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
- To understand and improve the website, only if you accept analytics (based on your consent).
- To keep the site secure, prevent misuse and meet legal obligations (legitimate interests and legal duty).
Who We Share It With
We do not sell personal information and do not “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We use these service providers, who may only use it to provide services to us:

- Payment processor: processes program purchases.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer (with notice to you). If you are outside the USA, your information is processed in the USA; where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
