Rheumatoid Arthritis

Stiff mornings and joints that won’t settle. Supporting the cellular environment beneath the inflammation.

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is an autoimmune condition in which the immune system attacks the lining of the joints, causing pain, swelling, stiffness and, over time, potential joint damage. It usually affects joints on both sides of the body, often the hands, wrists and feet, and it can bring deep fatigue and affect other organs too.

If you live with RA, you know the mornings: the stiffness that takes an hour to ease, the jar you can't open, the plans you cancel because a flare arrived overnight. You may look fine to everyone else while your body feels anything but. None of this is your fault, and you are not the problem.

What you've probably tried, and why it fell short

Medical treatment for RA, including disease-modifying drugs and biologics, can be genuinely life-changing and protects your joints. The pH Method does not replace it. But many people find that even with good medical care, fatigue lingers, flares still come, and they're left wondering what else they can do. Anti-inflammatory diets and supplements help some people, yet often feel like guesswork.

A different way to see it

Chronic inflammation is expensive. Immune cells working around the clock consume huge amounts of energy, and inflamed tissue is often short of oxygen. The cells that are meant to repair cartilage, regulate the immune response and keep you going through the day are working with very little in reserve.

Supporting Cellular Respiration, the process cells use to turn oxygen and nutrients into energy, gives the body more capacity to regulate inflammation and recover. That's why The pH Method begins at the cellular level before moving to the systems above it.

The order we work in

  1. Cellular Respiration: restore the energy your immune and repair systems depend on
  2. Circulation and flow: help oxygen and nutrients reach stiff, inflamed tissue
  3. Liver and inflammatory load: ease the burden the body is clearing every day
  4. Gut health: strong research links the gut and RA, so we address it once the foundation can support it

Why you can trust this approach

Phil Hoare lived with autoimmune conditions himself and spent years studying cellular respiration and the order in which the body regains balance. For RA in particular, keeping your rheumatologist involved is essential, because early, consistent medical treatment protects your joints. The pH Method is coaching and education that works alongside your medical team, never against them. Please don't stop or change medication without their guidance. Every body is different, and results vary.

What could feel different

Many people notice energy and morning stiffness change first. Picture getting out of bed without negotiating with your joints, picking up a grandchild, or planning a weekend without wondering whether your body will let you go.

Your first step

Take the free Clarity Quiz to see whether your rheumatoid arthritis is asking for cellular, digestive, liver or complex support first. It takes under two minutes. If your picture feels complicated, a Solutions Call with Phil can help you find the right pathway, so you won't be guessing alone.

You don't have to guess what comes first

The free Clarity Quiz gently shows whether your rheumatoid arthritis is asking for cellular, digestive, liver or complex support first.

Frequently asked questions about Rheumatoid Arthritis

Can I do The pH Method while on methotrexate or biologics?+

Yes. The pH Method is lifestyle-based coaching designed to sit alongside medical treatment. Always tell your rheumatologist about any changes you make, and never stop or adjust medication without their guidance.

Will this help my fatigue?+

Fatigue in RA is closely linked to the energy cost of chronic inflammation. Because The pH Method starts with cellular energy, improved energy is often one of the first things people notice, though results vary.

Is RA connected to gut health?+

Research increasingly links the gut microbiome and intestinal permeability to rheumatoid arthritis. Gut work is part of the pH Method sequence, timed for when the cellular foundation can support it.

Where should I start?+

Most people begin with Cell Reset. The free Clarity Quiz will confirm your starting point, and complex cases may benefit from a Solutions Call.
